Who Is Rebecca Atwood?
Rebecca Atwood is known for her bestselling design book, Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home, which offers clear ideas for how to use pattern to decorate the home. She grew up on Cape Cod, an ocean area that instilled in her a passion for color and design. In her work, she blends traditional methods with painting by hand. Her namesake collection of home goods includes pillows, bedding, and accessories, all designed for mix-and-match freedom. She notes, “Creating patterns, textures, and color for the home is all about creating an environment that makes us feel good. Hunter Douglas has created The Design Studio™ and with it is collaborating with Rebecca Atwood to let consumers select a complete and signature look for their windows. This inaugural featured-artist series includes eight of Rebecca Atwood’s designs, and customers can choose from light-filtering or room-darkening options in side panels, draperies, and roller and Roman shades. You’ll be able to add something new to your room seamlessly because all of the fabrics in the collection are designed to coordinate with many different Hunter Douglas window treatments. The launch is coming soon, so be sure to check in on the availability of the new fabrics.
