Designer Screen Shades
The Designer Roller and Designer Screen Shades from Hunter Douglas control glare, heat, and natural light, and they provide UV protection. They’re a great choice for many homes. When selecting the operating system for your roller or screen shades, be sure to think about your furniture placement, child and pet safety, and window placement within the room. The standard lift system for screen shades is the Custom Clutch, which has a continuous beaded cord loop. Simply pull the cord to raise and lower the shade. For Dual Roller Shades, which feature two separate shades in one unit, each shade has its own independent beaded cord loop. Here are some other options:
- The UltraGlide® lift system has a single retractable cord that remains the same length whether you raise or lower your shades, so this is a great choice for child and pet safety.
- The LightRise® lift system is a top option for safety. With this system, you can simply lift the bottom of the shade to raise it and pull it down to lower it. There are no cords!
- PowerView® Motorization is the ultimate in luxury and child and pet safety, and it gives you great convenience and security. You’re able to operate your shades from anywhere in the world using an internet connection and your smart device.
